This week, Bridge to Life celebrates a special milestone-the one-year anniversary of our office in Duluth, Georgia! This occasion marks not only a year of growth in expanding our footprint, but also the continued dedication of our entire team to advance the field of organ preservation and improve transplant outcomes worldwide.
Since our founding in 2005, Bridge to Life has been committed to enhancing the standards of organ preservation. With a mission to increase organ utilization, we’ve worked alongside healthcare providers and transplant centers across the globe to develop pioneering preservation technologies. From our first days to our latest advancements, we’re proud to have become a trusted partner in the transplant community.
A Journey of Innovation and Impact
As part of our celebration, we’re reflecting on some key milestones that have defined our journey. These pivotal achievements highlight our progress, our challenges, and the constant innovation that drives our work. Below is a visual timeline of Bridge to Life’s journey, from our first Belzer product launch in the U.S. in 2010 to our recent efforts to gain FDA approval for VitaSmart in 2025. Each milestone reflects a step forward in our mission to support transplant professionals in delivering the best possible care.
Of course, we could not expand our business without taking a moment to reflect on the contributions of our other locations in Suber and Northbrook. Our Suber team has been celebrating its 15th year in South Carolina. This dedicated sales and operations team has contributed to our growth by not only expanding our customer base but also ensuring a steady supply of our products. In May of 2016, the Suber team was honored with the prestigious Presidential “E” Award in Washington, DC, for excellence in export-a testament to their outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence.

Bridge to Life is proud to share that in Duluth, GA, we have hired engineers for solutions and to prep VitaSmart for launch; brought in more quality and regulatory employees to support our existing and future products; and created an onsite R&D lab, thereby enhancing the local economy. Our journey is far from over, and each year brings new opportunities to collaborate, grow, and push the boundaries of organ preservation technology. We’re excited to keep expanding our partnerships, advancing our research, and, ultimately, transforming transplant care worldwide.
