This study validates the use of flavin mononucleotide (FMN) levels in perfusate during hypothermic oxygenated machine perfusion (HOPE) to predict liver graft outcomes. FMN levels were found to accurately predict graft loss, ischemic cholangiopathy, and kidney failure, offering a reliable tool for assessing liver graft quality before transplantation.
